I Purchased this recently and didn’t pay attention to another review and I didn’t get this product I received a LS-C1.0TL 1TB LinkStation EZ. You don’t get the same futures such as this IS NOT a Media Server as is the LS-CH1.0TL 1TB LinkStation Live however the product described is great and I recommend it, just make sure you get the correct one.

Purchased this product – it didn’t work – called customer service twice (they are very helpful) but I had to return it.
The RMA (where you pay before they ship out the replacement product, then they don’t charge you as long as you return the old one) still hasn’t shipped – it’s been 5 business days since I gave them my CC information.
Won’t buy from this company again.

Needed a good reliable NAS that I could also attach a printer to. Buffalo has a good name and Amazon sells them.
Delivery quick. Removed from package and setup per instructions. Started to work OK then begain blinking error codes,
turns out the codes in book are different from the ones online (big surprise). So not wanting to deal with poor out of
the box quality I returned it to Amazon. If it wasn’t for Amazon I wouldn’t even waste my time with this review, they are a
quality company.

In fact at the begging it was ok, but I could never use the Time Machine, in fact the software that comes buit-in is not friendly enough to make my time machine work with. Then, following the troubleshooting procedures, I use the format services which, after 3 days, could be finished. So now, thanks for Amazon.com, I’m returning this item and buying a time capsule or similar. Remember that I use a PC with Windows on it, which was working until the moment I needed to format it. Very unhappy to be honest. There is a real lack of Technical support from Buffalo.
